Our partners

National and Local Trusts, Charities and Organisations committed to Breast Cancer.

The charity’s Trustees are all medical professionals working out of the Breast Care Units at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells hospitals. The charity works in harmony with the NHS Trusts to complement and enhance patient care in these units.

Breast Cancer Kent is building relationships with other national charities and organisations to bring about the best possible outcomes for its work. Team work is a great way to share knowledge and experience to help those with breast cancer in our county.

We are working with national charity, Breast Cancer Care, to run workshops for those with a life limiting diagnosis of secondary breast cancer.

We are supporting The University of Kent School of Biosciences by funding equipment for research scientists working in cancer therapeutics.

The Pink Ribbon Foundation has helped us to fund various projects for the Mid Kent Breast Cancer Research Appeal and now Breast Cancer Kent.

We work with Macmillan Nurse Specialists based in the Trust to see what they need to help patients in their care.

We would like to thank Bowyer Pounds & Co Financial Accountants, based in Barming, for independently reviewing the Breast Cancer Kent Annual Accounts.  This is an essential document for the workings of the charity in accordance with the Charity Commission.
