It was murder and mayhem on Saturday 23rd September, 2023 at Detling Village Hall when Judy and Cathy’s charity Murder Mystery evening took place.
Thank you to everyone who supported this event. Judy and Cathy took up the £1,000 Breast Cancer Kent challenge in memory of their friend Laura – a fellow patient at Maidstone Hospital and dedicated supporter of Breast Cancer Kent.
It was great fun as local dramatic group Alternative Shadows acted out a spooky murder mystery play for the assembled audience to solve. Colourful characters with dubious back stories were all under suspicion, and the audience were able to cross question them to find out more clues to determine ‘whodunnit’!
There was also a raffle, head & tails game, a book stall and a knitted goods stall to tempt the charity’s supporters.
A staggering £1,679.38 was raised for Breast Cancer Kent – smashing Judy and Cathy’s £1,000 challenge target.
