The £1,000 Challenge for Breast Cancer Kent

The £1,000 Challenge is back! After a couple of years’ gap due to coronavirus restrictions, our popular £1,000 challenge is running again this year and is bigger and better than ever.

The £1,000 Challenge for Breast Cancer Kent runs from 1st March until 1st November 2023.

Could you, your business or group take up the challenge and raise £1,000 or more for our charity?

In previous years we’ve had the most amazing fundraising projects – Marks & Spencer’s held a bra fitting and breast cancer awareness evening, their staff ran a static cycle sponsored race; Leeds Castle staff held cake sales, a disco and a sponsored trek to the summit of Snowdon; Business Legacy Ltd raised money through dinners and raffles; a lady from Snodland made brooches and earrings to sell to family and friends and 2 chums held a bring and buy stall for neighbours and friends to name but a few.

All were successful in raising at least £1,000 for our charity for which we are eternally grateful.

What’s more, this year, to celebrate, the participants will join us for an exclusive evening of drinks, canapés and entertainment inside Leeds Castle on Tuesday 5th December 2023 from 6.30pm to 9.00pm, when the castle will be decorated for Christmas!

To take part, please register with the organiser, Helen Teare, by emailing: helen@teare.eu or calling or texting 07736 649524.

We wish everyone lots of luck and jolly good fun raising money for the charity!
