Do you remember Imelda Bell, who had an exhibition of her photography work at our Awards Presentation for the £1,000 Challenge 2018?
Imelda was working on a portfolio of images reflecting the faces of those undergoing cancer treatment; what it felt like for them and how treatment had changed their lives. This portfolio has now been published in book form as ‘Facing The Monster: A Photographic Story Of The Faces Of Cancer’ and is available on Amazon.co.uk.
Not only that, but Imelda has written a series of books for children – ‘Big Topics For Little People’ – which now includes a story about cancer. You may find this a useful aid when trying to help children in the family come to terms with a loved one’s treatment.
All publications are available on Amazon.co.uk – search ‘Imelda Bell books’.
