Breast Cancer Kent’s Trustees were delighted to be able to present a cheque for £98,000 to Maidstone Hospital’s pathology department for a dedicated x-ray machine for breast tissue. This will cut the agonising wait time for breast cancer patients and mean fewer invasive surgeries per patient.
This is all thanks to the fantastic team of ladies who trekked up Mount Kilimanjaro, raising £154,000 for Breast Cancer Kent.
